Provided is a dust-collecting honeycomb filter that can suppress damage to a flange section resulting from impacts or the like during handling or the like. The dust-collecting honeycomb filter (100) is provided with: a honeycomb substrate (3) having a porous partition wall (1) that demarcates/forms a plurality of cells (2); and a flange section (23) that is disposed at the outer periphery of the honeycomb substrate (3) and that has a porous flange partition wall (21) that demarcates/forms a "plurality of flange cells (22) extending in the same direction as the cells (2)". The flange section (23) is formed in a manner so as to protrude outwards from the outer periphery of the honeycomb substrate (3), the partition wall (1) and the flange partition wall (21) are contiguously connected without forming a boundary therewithin, the flange section (23) has flange-opening sealing sections (24), the length of the flange-opening sealing section (24a) positioned at the innermost side of the flange section (23) is 1.0-2.5 mm, and the length of the flange-opening sealing section (24b) positioned at the outermost side of the flange section (23) is at least 3.0 mm.
