<p>In order to measure the space coordinates of an object point by simple and easy device configuration and method in a space coordinate system with an arbitrarily defined point as the origin, the coordinates of an object point is measured by providing a radio wave transmission unit at the object point, providing a plurality of reception units which are disposed at known coordinates and receive the radio wave transmitted by the transmission unit, receiving the radio wave transmitted by the transmission unit by a reception unit pair composed of two arbitrarily defined reception units among the plurality of reception units, calculating, regarding one reception unit pair, a propagation path distance difference that is the difference between the distance between the transmission unit and a first reception unit and the distance between the transmission unit and a second reception unit, calculating, regarding each of a plurality of reception unit pairs, a propagation path distance difference in the same manner, and calculating the coordinates of the transmission unit from the known coordinates of the plurality of reception units and the respective propagation path distance differences of the plurality of reception unit pairs.</p> |
