The present invention provides an insulation structure of an LNG carrier tank, which comprises: a lower insulation material adhering to the inner surface of a hull of an LNG carrier by using pieces of plywood as media; a secondary barrier adhering to the upper part of the lower insulation material and sticking to the pieces of plywood; a support bar adhering to the upper part of the secondary barrier, and having an upper insulation material combined on both sides thereof; and a primary barrier attached to the upper part of the support bar and made of stainless steel. The insulation structure of an LNG carrier tank according to the present invention is provided to have pieces of plywood bonded to the secondary barrier provided in between insulation materials, thereby preventing damage to the insulation materials; and to have pieces of plywood bonded to the lower part of the secondary barrier to prevent damage to the secondary barrier as well as to the insulation materials, thereby facilitating the operation of a flexible secondary barrier (FSB) process afterward. |
