The present invention relates to a production method of anhydrosugar alcohol using sulfuric acid and a metal halide compound, and more specifically, to a production method of anhydrosugar alcohol with improved economic feasibility which uses sulfuric acid and a metal halide compound as a catalyst of a dehydration conversion reaction for a method of converting sugar hydride into the anhydrosugar alcohol, thereby obtaining a conversion rate which is the same or greater than a case of using an existing mixed catalyst which has a relatively high price.
