PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle support device for mounting, on a vehicle, a portable terminal device which includes detection means for detecting a posture change, and display processing means for changing an image between vertical displaying and horizontal displaying according to the detected posture.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle support device of a portable terminal device includes holding means (1) drooped from the fixed part of a vehicle, and holding means (2) of a portable terminal device held in a suspended manner in the lower end of the holding means. The holding means (1) includes an upper support pillar (9) and a lower support pillar (10) having an outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral surface loosely fitted to each other to be extended/contracted. The lower support pillar (10) is elastically held to the upper support pillar (9), and a gap (15) is formed in the entire circumference so as to set the loosely fitted inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the upper support pillar and the lower support pillar in noncontact with each other. |
