PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information code reading device capable of extremely suppressing a time lag from the completion of reading to notification even in the case of sound data whose data amount is large.SOLUTION: When the decoding of an information code is performed to a predetermined stage, sound data stored in a first memory 35a are read to a second memory 35b by reading means prior to the completion of the decoding of the information code, and when the decoding of the information code by decoding means is completed, a sound is issued in accordance with the sound data stored in a second memory 35b by a speaker 44. Thus, it is possible to notify a user of the completion of reading even in the case of sound data whose data amount is relatively large. Then, it is possible to extremely suppress a time lag from the completion of reading to notification. |
