PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting diode that is excellent in directivity and allows high luminance emission, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A light-emitting diode of the present invention includes, on a supporting substrate 1, a light-emitting portion 6 that sequentially includes a metal reflection layer 2 and a compound semiconductor layer 5 sequentially including an active layer 4 and a DBR layer 3. The supporting substrate 1 and the light-emitting portion 6 are bonded. |
