[Problem] To provide an absorbent article that exhibits excellent body fluid absorption speed and excellent dryness after having absorbed a body fluid. [Solution] The absorbent article of the present invention is characterized by comprising: an absorbent body having arranged thereon a water-absorbent resin powder that satisfies the conditions (a)-(c) listed below; and a diffusion layer comprising a synthetic fiber aggregate that does not substantially possess water absorbing properties. Conditions: (a) absorption speed according to a vortex method is 20-50 seconds; (b) liquid passage speed under load is 10 seconds or less; (c) moisture absorption blocking rate is 5% or less. |
