The present invention provides a display device. The display device includes: a mapping unit which generates mapping image data for red and blue sub-pixels from the first to (n-1)^th lines using original image data for original red and blue sub-pixels from the 0 to (n-1)^th lines and a first gain, generates mapping image data for green sub-pixels from the first to (n-1)^th lines using original image data for original green sub-pixels from the 0 to (n-1)^th lines and a second gain, generates mapping image data for red and blue sub-pixels in the n^th line using original image data for original red and blue sub-pixels of the n^th line and a third gain which is different from the first gain, and generates mapping image data for green sub-pixels in the n^th line using original image data for original green sub-pixels of the n^th line and a fourth gain which is different from the second gain; a data driving unit which generates a data signal using the mapping image data; and a display panel which includes m x n pixels each of which is composed of red and green sub-pixels or blue and green sub-pixels and displays an image using the data signal.
