PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric porcelain composition which can be fired at a temperature lower than the melting point of an Ag-based metal and with which sufficiently high flexural strength can be obtained even if it is fired at a low temperature. SOLUTION: The dielectric-porcelain composition contains Mg<SB>2</SB>SiO<SB>4</SB>as a main component and contains zinc oxide, boron oxide, an alkaline earth metal oxide, a copper compound, and a lithium compound as sub-components.
