<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network monitoring device for determining an optimum communication route, based on the quality of the whole communication route constituted of a plurality of LSPs in an MPLS network with a multi-stage hierarchical configuration. <P>SOLUTION: It is determined whether or not the quality deterioration value of the communication route by one or a plurality of currently used label switch paths between a start point node and an end point node which are designated among a plurality of nodes constituting a communication network exceeds a quality deterioration threshold. When it is determined that the quality deterioration value of the communication route by one or a plurality of currently used label switch paths exceeds the quality deterioration threshold, the new communication route with the smaller quality deterioration value is re-determined among the communication routes by one or a plurality of label switch paths constituted between the designated start point node and end point node. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
