A mobile terminal capable of replacing a battery without cutting off power according to the present invention allows a user to keep the power on when replacing a discharged battery with a charged battery and to process the battery replacement using a battery cover mounted at the mobile terminal not depending on an extra outer-mounted device while the power of the mobile terminal is on. To this end, the mobile terminal comprises a battery accommodation part which is formed in a main body and has a main electrode, and a battery cover which is installed to be able to rotate toward the battery accommodation part by coupling to a first hinge and a second hinge that are provided at a side of the battery accommodation part and has a sub electrode to contact with a power terminal of a charged battery to be inserted into the battery accommodation part, wherein the battery cover rotates to be inserted into the battery accommodation part while the sub electrode contacts with a terminal of the charged battery before a discharged battery, which is previously mounted in the battery accommodation part, is dismounted from the battery accommodation part, thereby preventing the power from being cut off while the discharged battery is replaced. |
