A folding hand truck for carrying cargo comprises, a frame having: an elongate support 100, at least one frame member 50, 55 and a foot 60, 65; and at least one wheel 20, 25 attachable to the frame. The frame member is pivotally coupled to the support about a first axis such that the frame member may move in a first plane between an unfolded position in which the frame member is substantially perpendicular to the support, and a folded state in which the frame member is parallel to the support (figure 2d). The foot is coupled to the frame member and extends into a second plane substantially perpendicular to the first, and said foot may also be pivotable to a collapsed position (figure 2e). The wheel when attached to the frame rotates about a third axis parallel to an intersection of the first and second planes. The wheel may have the shape of a barrel (220, figure 2a), and the frame may be prevented from collapsing by the presence of the attached wheel(s). The hand or sack truck is collapsible for reduced storage space and for ease of transport in a vehicle. |
