PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which can perform lock release and rotation of a locked rotatable panel.SOLUTION: An electronic device includes: a panel 70 which is rotated with respect to a printer housing 14 around a rotary shaft 71; and a holding mechanism 81 which holds the panel 70 at a predetermined rotational angle. The holding mechanism 81 includes: a holding part 82 which is provided in the printer housing 14; a held part 83 which can be moved to a first position at which it is held by the holding part 82, and a second position at which it is separated from the holding part 82; a moving part 84 which is connected to the held part 83, and can be moved in a direction of an arrow 57 intersecting with a shaft line 73 of the rotary shaft 71 and in which the held part 83 is moved, and a direction of arrows 17, 18 which is the rotational direction of the panel 70; a contact part 85 which is provided in the moving part 84 and brought into contact with the panel 70 on one side or the other side of the rotational direction; and an operation part 86 which is operated in the direction of the arrow 57 and the direction of the arrows 17, 18 to move the moving part 84 in the same direction as an operation direction. |
