PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust system of a saddle type vehicle in which an end cap is installed close to a muffler to express a sense of unity of both members and improve the appearance and the generation of striking sound can be prevented.SOLUTION: An exhaust system 10 of a saddle type vehicle 1 includes a muffler 20 connected to an exhaust pipe 11 discharging exhaust of an engine E, and an end cap 30 is mounted at a muffler rear end section 20r. In the end cap 30, an insertion section 32 thereof is held by insertion to an end cap inserted section 22e provided at the muffler rear end section 20r. On an outer surface 32a of the insertion section 32, a plurality of protrusions 35 is formed at predetermined intervals in a circumferential direction of the outer surface 32a, and the plurality of protrusions 35 abuts on an inner peripheral wall surface 20aw of an inserted section of the end cap inserted section 22e. |
