PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank type vacuum circuit breaker in which a weight of a reinforcement member for external insulation of a vacuum valve is reduced and the structure is simplified.SOLUTION: A tank type vacuum circuit breaker includes: a tank 1; a vacuum valve 2 having a pair of contact points stored in the tank 1; a fixed side electrode 3 which is fixed to a fixed side of the vacuum valve 2; a support insulator 4 which is cast by an epoxy resin for fixing the fixed side electrode 3 to the tank 1 side; a movable side electrode 9 fixed to a movable side of the vacuum valve 2; a ground insulator 10 which is cast by an epoxy resin for fixing the movable side electrode 9 to the tank 1 side; and an inter electrode insulator 13 provided at an outer periphery of the vacuum valve 2 which is located between the fixed side electrode 3 and the movable side electrode 9. The inter electrode insulator 13 is formed by an insulation material lighter than epoxy resin. |
