PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery deterioration degree estimation device and a method capable of improving accuracy, when estimating an anticipated deterioration degree of each individual battery.SOLUTION: A battery deterioration degree estimation device 30 for estimating an anticipated deterioration degree of a battery when a vehicle 20 travels along a route includes: an information acquisition part 31 for acquiring from each of a plurality of vehicles 10, 20, section information of a section traveled by the vehicles 10, 20, information on a battery capacity when traveling a section, information on a battery temperature, and information on the C rate; a statistic value calculation part 32a for calculating a statistic value of a battery capacity change when traveling a prescribed section, a statistic value of a battery temperature change, and a statistic value of the C rate on the basis of each information acquired by the information acquisition part 31; and a deterioration degree estimation part 32b for estimating the anticipated deterioration degree of the battery when traveling a prescribed section on the basis of the calculation result by the statistic value calculation part 32a. |
