PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement system allowing a worry-free use in payment at a restaurant.SOLUTION: A settlement system includes: a management server having a meal ticket process part for generating meal-ticket information from monetary amount information and transmitting the resultant to a portable communication terminal; the portable communication terminal including input reception means, a transmission part capable of transmitting user information and the monetary amount information, a reception part capable of receiving the meal-ticket information, and a display part; a shop-side terminal including a meal-ticket obtainment part capable of reading the meal-ticket information to obtain the information, a transmission part for transmitting the obtained meal-ticket information to the management server, and a shop point process part for transmitting shop point information. Further, the meal ticket process part ends settlement processing without completing it, when confirming the meal-ticket information is illegitimate, and dispatches a person in charge to a shop that has transmitted the illegitimate meal-ticket information just for the first time within two hours, the person carrying cash equivalent to the monetary amount information. |
