PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled work machin capable of reducing the load applied to an engine even when large power is required for a work system.SOLUTION: A self-propelled snow removal machine 10 is equipped with a return mechanism 100 for returning a linkage 90 to a deceleration direction during work. The return mechanism 100 includes: a speed detection sensor 107 for detecting the travel speed of a travel system 50; a throttle aperture detection sensor 108 for detecting a load applied to an engine 22; and a control part 101 to which the speed detection sensor 107 and throttle aperture detection sensor 108 are connected. The control part 101 issues a deceleration command to an electric motor 112 when a load applied to the engine 22 exceeds a prescribed value, and the electric motor 112 drives the linkage 90 to the deceleration direction according to the deceleration command irrespective of the operation of a gear change control lever 61. |
