The present invention relates to a temporary stop-based pointer control technology which stops a pointer movement minutely and temporarily when passing a response object in order to accurately perform a selection and a click about various response objects (button, link) which are displayed on a web page of a smart TV screen without an error even though a remote control mouse of lower sensitivity is used. In the present invention, the pointer operation sensitivity of a remote control mouse which is normally used in the use environment of a smart TV is lower than a mouse device which is normally used in a personal computer. The present invention is able to increase the prevalence of smart TV by increasing user satisfaction about a web surfing in the smart TV. Especially, the present invention is able to increase the price competitiveness of a smart TV and increase the supply of products by improving the accuracy of selection and click operations about various reaction areas which are displayed in a web page in a smart TV environment without an increase of extra costs.
