<p>Drain oil flowing back from the scavenging-port side of an engine is prevented from adhering to a water droplet separator using a simple and inexpensive configuration. A contamination-preventing structure (47) for a scavenging-air water droplet separator is provided with an air cooler, a water droplet separator (24), and a scavenging trunk chamber (25) in the stated order from a supercharger side within an air guide pipe (22) linking a supercharger and a scavenging port of the engine, and when the scavenging trunk chamber (25) extends towards the location above the water droplet separator (24) and is connected to the scavenging port, an upper securing member (57) for securing the upper section of the water droplet separator (24) in the air guide pipe (22) is shaped as a cover covering the upper surface of the water droplet separator (24), and the scavenging trunk chamber (25) side end of the upper securing member (57) is extended in a manner resembling eaves and a front-side extended section (62) is formed, so that drain oil dripping from the scavenging port side into the scavenging trunk chamber (25) after the engine has been stopped does not fall on the water droplet separator (24).</p> |
