PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam generation system which collects waste-heat of driving means to heat water supply, further heats the water supply by a heat pump, and heats the water supply by heat of an exhaust gas of a boiler or the boiler and the driving means thereby achieving high efficiency.SOLUTION: A steam generation system includes: a boiler 2 having a combustion chamber; a heat pump 3 including a compressor 4 and an expansion valve 12; an engine 5 which drives the compressor 4 of the heat pump 3; a first heat exchanger 7 which heats the water supply to the boiler 2 by heat generated from the engine 5; a second heat exchanger 8 which heats the water supply by the refrigerant compressed by the compressor 4; a boiler exhaust gas line 10 in which an exhaust gas of the boiler 2 flows; an engine exhaust gas line 16 which exhausts an exhaust gas of the engine 5 to the boiler exhaust gas line 10; and a third heat exchanger 9 which heats the water supply to the boiler 2 by heat of a mixed gas composed of the exhaust gas of the boiler 2 and the exhaust gas of the engine 5 or heat of the exhaust gas of the boiler 2. |
