PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an assist power control device for a power-assisted bicycle which can provide efficient assistance using a motor according to a charge amount of a battery by determining an appropriate assist ratio in consideration of a scheduled travel distance inputted by a user.SOLUTION: An assist power control device for a power-assisted bicycle includes: pedaling force detection means 2 for detecting a pedaling force applied to bicycle pedals; a motor 5 applying an assist power to the pedaling force using a battery as a power source; and an assist amount control unit 10 for determining an assist ratio as an application degree of the assist power, according to the pedaling force. The assist power control device further includes scheduled travel distance input means 8a in which a user inputs a scheduled travel distance when using the bicycle. The assist amount control unit 10 changes the assist ratio in consideration of the scheduled travel distance. |
