PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a debugging method which enables machine debugging instead of desktop debugging when there is a trouble with a program coded in OpenCOBOL.SOLUTION: An OpenCOBOL program debugging support system includes means for transforming OpenCOBOL source code, which is source code of an OpenCOBOL program, into C source code by having an OpenCOBOL compiler compile the OpenCOBOL source code, and means for debugging the transformed C source code using a CDT(C/C++ Development Tooling) plug-in debugging tool of Eclipse. |
