摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain an engine surely in a no-load state, secure the engine in a stable state, and improve the learning accuracy, during the learning of characteristics of engine control related components used for engine control.SOLUTION: A control device for an engine includes: an alternator 2 acquiring power from an engine 1 to generate electricity; and a capacitor 3 storing the electric power generated by the alternator 2. An electric power consumption required during the learning is calculated and the electric power consumption is compared with the electric power of the capacitor 3. The learning is performed in a state where the alternator 2 generates electricity so that the electric power of the capacitor 3 becomes larger than the electric power consumption when the electric power of the capacitor 3 is smaller than the electric power consumption, while the electric power of the capacitor 3 is used and the alternator 2 does not generate electricity when the electric power of the capacitor 3 is larger than the electric power consumption or when the electric power of the capacitor 3 has become larger than the electric power consumption.
