PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tread rubber composition which can improve low gas mileage properties, wear resistance and filler dispersibility in good balance while reducing a use amount of components derived from oil resources, and a pneumatic tire having a tread prepared using the rubber composition.SOLUTION: A tread rubber composition contains a rubber component, and a vegetable oil produced from genetically modified plants. Preferably, the content of oleic acid in constituent fatty acid 100 mass% of the vegetable oil is 85 mass% or more. |
