PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus capable of searching an efficient route to guide a user riding on a vehicle driven by man power to a destination while observing traffic regulations.SOLUTION: A route search section 21 searches a route from a present position detected by a present position detection section 11 up to a destination set by a user through an operation section 15 while referring to a piece of map information stored in a map information storage 12. As for a portion of the root where riding on a bicycle is prohibited by the traffic regulations, the route search section 21 determines to walk therethrough and sets the region of the root as a walk segment. When the user gets closer to the walk segment, the route guide section 22 notifies the user to get off from the vehicle, and when the user has passed therethrough, the route guide section 22 notifies the user that riding on the bicycle is permitted. |
