PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve congruence of coefficients of friction between a pair of components without increasing material costs or labor costs.SOLUTION: A vehicle parking brake includes: a pin 31 having three surfaces and capable of telescopic motion; and a roller 42 provided on an underside. The three surfaces respectively correspond to an engaged position, a hold position, and a non-engaged position of the parking brake. A control device includes a lever 32 rotatably connected to the control device, and the lever has a roller 34 on an underside of the lever. The roller rotatably contacts the pin surfaces. Further, the control device includes a base having a top face on which the pin roller rotates. When the brake is engaged, the lever roller contacts a first surface, and when the brake is in a hold state, the lever roller contacts a second surface, whereas the lever roller contacts a third surface of the pin capable of telescopic motion, when the parking brake is in the non-engaged position. |
