PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidification device with which a room can be humidified as quickly as possible when the room humidity is low.SOLUTION: A humidification device 10 includes: an operation control means 90 that selects either a humidification priority mode or a normal operation mode on the basis of a prescribed condition, and operates the humidification device 10; and fans 34, 35 that can regulate the amount of air, and that generate airflow which pass through a condenser and an evaporator. In the humidification priority mode, the operation is performed in such a manner that the amount of air from the fans 34, 35 is decreased in comparison with the amount in the normal operation mode, thereby increasing the desorption of moisture from an adsorbent material in the condenser and increasing the recovery of moisture by an adsorbent material in the evaporator in comparison with the normal operation mode, and thus prioritizing humidification over air ventilation. |
