PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidification air cleaning device capable of further improving use feeling when it is used at night.SOLUTION: A humidification air cleaning device includes blower means 6 disposed in a body case 3 having an intake port 1 and an exhaust port 2, air cleaning means 4 and humidifying means 5 disposed in an air trunk of the blower means 6, an illuminance sensor 16 measuring an illuminance around the body case 3, and water shortage detecting means 20 detecting water shortage in the humidifying means 5. The humidifying means 5 includes a water tank 9 for storing water, a water supply tank portion 10 for supplying water to the water tank 9, a humidifying portion for retaining the water in the water tank 9, and a water supply portion 18 for supplying water to the humidifying portion. The water shortage of the humidifying means 5 is detected by the water shortage detecting means 20, a water supply operation to the blower means 6 and the humidifying portion is stopped by control means 25 when the illuminance measured by the illuminance sensor 16 is less than a prescribed illuminance, a water shortage display portion 23 is lit or blinked, and sound of a buzzer portion 22 is reduced or eliminated. |
