Disclosed is a water purifier capable of making ice and cold water includes a cold-water tank storing the generated cold water; a ice making water reservoir connected to the cold-water tank via a connecting pipe to be selectively supplied by the cold water; a cold-water pump pumping the water of the cold-water tank; an ice making water pump pumping the water of the ice making water reservoir; an evaporator installed at an upper boundary of the cold-water tank and the ice making water reservoir and supplied by a cooling medium therein; a cold-water generating unit attached to one side (upper portion of the cold-water tank) of the evaporator and cooling the purified water pumped by the cold-water pump and injected from a cold-water nozzle to generate the cold water; and an ice making unit attached to the other side (upper portion of the ice making water reservoir) and cooling the purified water pumped by the ice making water pump and injected from an ice making nozzle to make the ice. Therefore, since the cold-water storing space and the ice storing space are separated, and the evaporator includes the ice making member and the cold-water generating member in one piece, it is possible to prevent the decrease in the ice making efficiency due to the use of the cold water. Also, it is possible to actively manage the temperature of the cold water suitable for the drinking of a user. |
