PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission type screen that is able to remarkably reduce display failure such as ghost and able to display a satisfactory image, and to provide a rear projection type display device equipped with this.SOLUTION: In a transmission type screen 10, a screen surface has a curved shape, and an incident surface 10a, on which image light is made incident forms an incident surface 10a substantially flat, and has an incident side function layer 21 having an anti-reflection function layer. The incident side function layer 21 is formed from a vapor deposition film or sputter film of an inorganic compound. A rear projection type display device 1 comprises: this transmission type screen 10; a light source part 70 that projects image light; and a mirror part 80 located on the rear side of the transmission type screen 10 and configured to reflect image light from the light source part 70, thereby projecting it to the incident surface 10a of the transmission type screen 10. |
