The invention relates to an extruder that consists of a central spindle, which rotates in a housing, and planetary spindles. The housing has an inner toothing and surrounds the central spindle at a distance therefrom. The planetary spindles rotate about the central spindle in the intermediate space between the central spindle and the housing and in the process mesh with both the central spindle as well as the housing inner toothing. The planetary spindles in the inlet region of the extrusion material are designed to at least introduce the material without applying pressure and are designed at least partly as transport spindles, and/or the housing inner toothing is flattened in order to form an inlet funnel in the toothing at least in the region which adjoins the inlet opening of the housing casing and extends in the rotational direction of the central spindle. |
