<p>[Problem] The present invention provides a switchgear which is shaped to decrease a resistance to low-speed airflow in the ventilation during a normal operation, while significantly reducing the energy from a blowout when the blowout is caused by a high temperature and high pressure gas generated in a housing due to an electrical accident and so forth. [Solution] A switchgear is provided with a cover body with a plurality of vent holes and a gas blowout prevention device that closes the vent holes formed in the cover body when the pressure in the housing increases, the gas blowout prevention device including a stationary shutter arranged between the vent holes formed in the cover body, and a movable shutter arranged between the stationary shutters, which, when the pressure in the housing increases, moves due to the energy of the pressure to come in contact with the stationary shutter, thereby closing the vent holes.</p> |
