The invention relates to a spool (10) for storing flexible tubular ducts and a method for producing such a spool. It comprises both a barrel (12) presenting two opposing circular rims (24, 26) and two flanges (14, 16) intended for covering, respectively, said two opposing circular rims of the barrel (12) in such a manner as to laterally retain a tubular duct wound around said barrel, each of said flanges (14, 16) presenting a concentric rim (18) and hub (20) interconnected radially by spokes (22), said flanges (14, 16) and said barrel (12) being interconnected solely by said spokes (22) of each flange (14, 16) respectively with said circular rims (24, 26). |
