PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyphenylene sulfide resin and a molded article excellent in thermal conductivity and fire resistance, without requiring a painting process to white color and suitable for LED heat radiation members.SOLUTION: The polyphenylene sulfide resin is obtained by blending 100 pts.mass of a polyphenylene sulfide resin (A) and 160 pts.mass or more and 250 pts.mass or less of an inorganic filler, contains magnesium hydroxide (B) and titanium oxide (C) with blending ratio (mass ratio) of 100:10 or more and 100:75 or less, and has the total blending amount of the magnesium hydroxide (B) and the titanium oxide (C) is 60 pts.mass or more and 160 pts.mass or less based on 100 pts.mass of the polyphenylene sulfide resin (A). |
