PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a private branch exchange in which a line package of an existent private branch exchange and a density increased line package can be utilized in parallel without reducing accommodation efficiency.SOLUTION: While using a basic line package 22a to which time slots of 8 MHz clock of a private branch exchange 10 are allocated, a double density line package 22b to which time slots of a 48 MHz clock are allocated, is applied. For voice channels, the allocation of time slots to the basic line package 22a is started from a smallest number and the allocation of time slots to the double density line package 22b is started from a largest number. Thus, voice channels can be utilized without reducing accommodation efficiency, line packages can be easily increased and decreased and channels which are twice as many as existent channels can be obtained. |
