PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-start permanent magnet synchronous motor having a smooth pull-in synchronization performance capable of preventing inflation of a starter basket conductor due to a deformation of a rotor core caused by a rotary shaft inserted with a force in to a rotor, and a blower mounted therewith.SOLUTION: A rotor 7 of a self-start permanent magnet synchronous motor 2 comprises: a pair of slits 18 for embedding at least a pair of permanent magnets 15 in a line-symmetric with respect to a predetermined diameter 17 inner than rotor slots 16; and a shaft hole 19 for inserting a rotary shaft 3. The shaft hole 19 is formed in an elliptical shape at the center of the rotor core 10 and the longer diameter of the elliptical shaped shaft hole 19 is disposed parallel to the diameter 17. With this, the deformation of the rotor core 10 caused by the rotary shaft 3 with a force into the rotor 7 is reduced, and the inflation of the starter basket conductor is reduced; thereby achieving smooth pull-in synchronization. |
