PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively block movement of a foreign substance without reducing capacity.SOLUTION: The storage element comprises: a positive electrode external terminal 13 and a negative electrode external terminal 14 including exposed portions which are exposed outside from a casing 4, respectively; a positive electrode collector 18 and a negative electrode collector 19 connected to the external terminals 13 and 14, respectively; an electrode body 7 which is formed from a negative electrode 27, a positive electrode 26 and a separator 28 which are all band-shaped, and configured by disposing the separator 28 between the negative electrode 27 and the positive electrode 26 and winding the positive electrode 26 and the negative electrode 27 while deviating the positions thereof oppositely to the separator 28 in a width direction, and in which the positive electrode 26 is connected to the positive electrode collector 18 and the negative electrode 27 is connected to the negative electrode collector 19; and a closing element 31 which is accommodated within a central hole 30 in a wound portion of the electrode body 7, is disposed at least either at a positive electrode side or at a negative electrode side, and closes the central hole 30 when deforming the electrode body 7 flat. |
