PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid developer having excellent transferability and fixability of toner particles.SOLUTION: A liquid developer is formed by dispersing toner particles containing at least resin and pigment in an insulating liquid. The resin contains a crystalline resin and an amorphous resin. The toner particles forms a sea-island structure in which the crystalline resin and amorphous resin are incompatible to each other. The sea-island structure has the sea part formed of the crystalline resin, and an island part formed of the amorphous resin. The pigment is present on a boundary face between the sea part and island part of the sea-island structure. |
