The present invention includes a suction body having an air suction unit; a front panel which is coupled to the front end of the suction body and has an opening opened forwards and rearwards in the center thereof in a vertical direction; a grill assembly lengthily disposed in the opening in a vertical direction such that an air discharge unit is formed between the grill assembly and an inner periphery of the opening, for changing a discharge direction of air-conditioning air discharged through the air discharge unit while left and right ends thereof are rotated at a predetermined angle with respect to a vertical axis; a rotation mechanism for rotating the grill assembly; and a grill mood lighting unit for projecting light toward the air discharge unit and displaying a rotation operation of the grill assembly to the outside. Accordingly, the air conditioner provides excellent appearance and provides a user with visual driving information of the air conditioner.
