The invention relates to a planar antenna (10) for selectively receiving two linearly polarized electromagnetic waves, comprising a plate structure (12) having an upper, a center, and a lower electrically conductive plate element (14, 16, 18), which are disposed on top of one another with an upper and a lower insulating element (20, 24) being interposed, which carry an upper and a lower conductor structure (22, 26), wherein the plate elements form receiving cells (30) disposed next to one another in the form of openings (32), into which a first decoupling probe (38) and a second decoupling probe (40) protrude aligned perpendicular to one another and disposed on top of one another, wherein the first decoupling probes are electrically combined by the upper conductor structure (22) and the second decoupling probes are electrically combined by the lower conductor structure (26) in-amplitude and in-phase. To provide the planar antenna (10) with higher antenna gain and good polarization decoupling, the openings (32) are formed in each case by at least two mutually centrically penetrating oval recesses (33, 35). |
