<p>The invention relates to a method for characterising coating properties on heat transfer surfaces in steam generators by means of measurements on coatings on heating surfaces, characterised by the following steps: measuring the temperature curve over time interval t in at least one position x1 and the curve of the heat flux in at least one further position x2, wherein the different measuring positions relative to the thickness of a coating on a heating surface represent different positions within the coating or on the surface thereof, determining the phase shift between the measured curves, the respective amplitudes and the respective mean values, and determining the angular frequency ?, determining ? and the heat penetration coefficient b from the phase shifts and the amplitude comparison of at least two curves, calculating the thermal conductivity ? assuming the layer thickness dB of the coating or the layer thickness dB assuming the thermal conductivity ?, by comparison with reference values, or calculating both variables from the measured curves, calculating a from the previously calculated variables.</p> |
