摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily achieve energy saving by reducing power consumption of a pump while maintaining the water quality of treated water regardless of change of water temperature and the like. SOLUTION: A system for improving water quality comprises a reverse osmosis membrane portion 9, a pump 10 for supplying water to be treated to the reverse osmosis membrane portion 9, and a control means for controlling the number of revolutions of the pump 10. The system includes at least a water temperature sensor 11e for detecting water temperature, a required water quality determining means for determining the required water quality of an apparatus 2, and a flow rate sensor 11a for detecting the flow rate of treated water. The control means 12 performs a first step for setting mutual relational characteristics among the flow rate of the treated water, water temperature, and the water quality of the treated water, a second step for calculating a predetermined flow rate satisfying the required water quality from the relational characteristics based on the water temperature detected by the water temperature sensor 11e and the required water quality determined by the required water quality determining means, and a third step for controlling the number of revolutions of the pump 10 so that the flow rate detected by the flow rate sensor 11a may becomes the predetermined flow rate.
