A display apparatus and an associated display controlling method include a first body having a first display, a second body comprising a second display, a hinge which connects and rotatably supports the first body and the second body, a storage unit configured to store one or more contents, and a controller configured to display a first screen on the first display and displays a second screen corresponding to implemented contents on the second display when one of the contents is implemented, in which the controller modifies the displayed contents on the second screen according to a user manipulation, when the user manipulation is performed on the first screen.
