The invention concerns lift-and-carry mechanical engineering. The lift-crane system is adapted to be connected to the external side of a construction, and includes at least one lifting unit engaged with at least one rail for moving the lifting unit along the rail attached to the structure of the construction; a boom crane including a rotating mechanism and a rotary mechanism for bearing one end of the boom that comprises at least one telescopic section (one or more) for reaching any point on the construction or above the construction; a transport facility with a mechanism for forwarding and returning the lifting unit for maintaining said unit in the vicinity of the rail for securing it to or releasing it from the latter; wherein the lifting unit comprises beating members for attaching the lifting unit to the structure of the construction in order to increase the load capacity of the boom crane during the operation thereof on the construction, the transport facility comprises a nominal location for mounting the lifting unit on the transport facility so that the boom crane can operate directly on the transport facility, and the building surface of the construction includes at least one nominal location for mounting the lifting unit on the building surface so that the boom crane can operate in the vicinity of the construction and independently from the transport facility.
