Anti-tachycardic heart stimulator

The stimulator (10) has a ventricular sensing unit detecting chamber contraction and delivering a ventricular sensing signal when a chamber contraction is detected. An atrial sensing unit detects an atrial contraction and delivers an atrial sensing signal. An analyzer analyzes the atrial events detected by atrial sensing unit before, during and after delivery of the antitachycardiac stimulation with regard to an atrial rhythm pattern and triggers a treatment control unit based on antitachycardiac stimulation response signal for selection of antitachycardiac treatment.
