The present invention relates to a basket for a shopping cart and, more particularly, to a basket used in a small shopping cart, which has a beautiful design and excellent assembling properties in order to facilitate the replacement of parts even during damage or breakage. The basket for a shopping cart is mounted in the upper part of a leg unit mounted with a caster in the lower part thereof and is to accumulate shopped products by including a handle unit in the back side. The basket of a synthetic resin material is molded in a mesh shape, and comprises a basket member which has open upper and lower parts and has a front lower part in a semicircular arc shape; an edge frame member of a synthetic resin material which is combined to the top end of the basket member; and a cover plate of a synthetic resin material where a foldable seat member is included in the back side of the basket member, and where the top end of the back side of the basket member and the tip of the back side of the edge frame member are fixated to both side ends of the handle unit molded of a synthetic resin material using a coupling unit. |
