PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce troublesomeness of printing setting when a printer is introduced or changed.SOLUTION: In a printing system comprising a plurality of printers 3 and terminal devices 2, a printer server 1 controls printing in a printer 3 on the basis of a printing request from a terminal device 2. The printer server 1 is configured to comprise: storing means 103 for storing a table in which user identification information indicating a printing request source and printer 3 identification information are associated with each other; receiving means for receiving a printing job transmitted from the terminal device 2; printer selecting means 105 for selecting, from the table, the printer 3 associated with the user identification information on the basis of the user identification information included in the received printing job; job converting means 107 for converting the received printing job to a printing job appropriate for the selected printer 3; and transmitting means for transmitting the converted printing job to the selected printer 3. |
