PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle speed control system which inhibits a vehicle from careering by exceeding a speed limit at dangerous sites such as crowded places and areas, school routes for example, and blind corners.SOLUTION: A vehicle speed control system performs speed control on a vehicle so that a traveling speed of the vehicle does not exceed a speed limit when the vehicle locates in a safe driving specified area, on the basis of map information including speed limit information of the safe driving specified areas and location information of the driving vehicle. |
